When we boarded our flight in Newark and Bobby Flay (@bobbyflay) was standing behind us, who thought our trip could get better? But every day Tommy and Terese delivered. Their passion for what they do was so clear in every carefully planned day. From our tours with Stella to our winery visits and a free day; breakfasts and dinners at the villa…everything was perfect. This will not be our last trip with two of the most genuine people we’ve ever met.

I feel like I got to experience the best of Italy during our trip with Adventures to Tuscany. Our first time in Italy and I believe we got to see the best of everything! Their Villa is just beautiful, the food & wines amazing, and the hosts gracious and knowledgeable. You will want for nothing! The Villa has a lot of room for everyone to move around both inside and outside. This is such a nice place to come back to after a busy day!  The pool was my salvation after experiencing 92 degree heat in Rome and Venice before we came to Tuscany. The village and winery tours were great and we especially enjoyed the tour of Siena. It is also great to be able to come back to the Villa to relax, drink a glass of wine and look at the scenery.  We had a great group of people with us here as well. I am grateful to have been able to experience such a great time in Tuscany!  Hopefully we will be able to to return sometime in the near future. Until next time, “Chin chin” as they say

We had an amazing time on our Adventures to Tuscany trip. As travelers who tend to fly by the seats of our pants, more or less, we were not sure how we would do with a trip where so much was planned in advance. Despite our usual way of doing things, we loved every minute of the Tours of villages and the beautiful wineries where we were wined and dined. Having our dinners at the Villa gave us a great opportunity to unwind before and during our evenings. And staying at the Villa itself, beautiful inside and out with amazing views, was like living in a fairytale. Tommy and Terese’s deep experience with planning these trips was evident throughout. I would highly recommend Adventures to Tuscany.

“This trip is truly an amazing experience!  We have been to Tuscany six times with Adventures to Tuscany, but our trips in 2016 & 2018 were our first stays at their new Villa.  It was truly amazing… the views, the Villa, the wineries, the wonderful foods prepared by Chefs Angela & Giuseppe, the Tuscan people and the attention to every detail by our hosts Tommy & Terese made these trips fantastic…  We experienced everything we wanted to do in this wonderful region and also got to “live in the moment” which is so important when you visit here!  The great and unique characteristics of this tour is that you can be busy every day, or just relax by the pool and enjoy the wines and foods of the region.  We love these experiences, and we’ve just returned from both their  2022 Tuscany Tours and their Provence Tours… And we’ve already signed up with more family for The Beautiful Villages of Provence in 2024, and we’re going back to Tuscany again in 2025! I’ve returned home from my wonderful trip to Provence, France by traveling via Adventures to Provence w/ Tommy & Terese.  As I’m sharing photos & stories w/ my family & coworkers, it brings laughter & smiles to everyone. T & T truly make it a point to make all their guests (lovely people) feel very welcomed. They listen to your needs and do their very best to accommodate you. I can’t stop talking & sharing photos of Mont Ventoux (google it).  It was spectacular & extraordinary & I wouldn’t have experienced it and many other Wow Factor sites w/o them.  They hire outstanding chefs to entertain you with fabulous/delicious dishes. Buongiorno Tommy and Terese.  Grazie Mille for a wonderful time in Tuscany!  Just when we thought our trip to Italy (five nights in Florence and Venice) couldn’t get much better, it did, upon our arrival at the Villa Marangole.  Your welcoming smiles made us feel like we had “come home”!  From Happy Hour on Saturday (5/21) to our breakfast on departure day, you truly provided us with all of the comforts of home….on steroids!  Every detail, from the accommodations to the meals, tours and entertainment were top notch.  We couldn’t have asked for more! I told you both that prior to the trip I was a little skeptical about the Festival del Bianchi on Tuesday evening; to say it was fabulous is an understatement!  I’m looking for another opportunity to wear white!  Grazie Mille to Angela & Giuseppe (our wonderful Chefs) and to Davide & Francesca (our talented musicians/singers)!  And to you (our talented tour guides), we’re looking forward to joining you for your Beautiful Villages of Provence Tour in June of 2024!

We searched for a trip to Italy for years and all of a sudden, Adventures to Tuscany popped up with two openings.  Very little was known about this tour, but we decided to act quickly and book it.  Little did we know just how perfect this tour would be.  From the very beginning, Tommy and Terese helped us with plans and prepared us for what would be a true immersion into Tuscan culture and people.  With 23 years of doing this for 10-11 lucky people per trip, Tommy and Terese knew every last detail for a truly unique experience.  From the selection of the perfect Villa nestled in the middle of a massive wine estate, providing vistas of rolling hills of never-ending grape vines and olive trees, the selection of excursion towns and specific activities (including the people), the traditional Tuscan breakfasts at the Villa, and our awesome dinners prepared by personal chefs, Angela & Giuseppe, the experience was very surreal.  All the time, we were treated like family – we were a family more so than a tour group.  This unique experience is the mastermind of Tommy and Terese and “all inclusive” was truly all inclusive with no expense spared.  Everything was top-shelf including the free-flowing wine and beer and the exquisite meals served.  If Tommy noticed interest in a particular wine, it was available (regardless of price) that evening to enjoy.  Each evening was a party from the moment we returned from our excursion, through dinner, and into the late evening.  The party of parties was the Festival del Bianco that included pizza of all varieties (thanks to Angela &Giuseppe), live music, dancing, and fabulous conversation amongst “family”.  For all of this, we thank Tommy & Terese and our newly found “family”.  This was a trip of a lifetime, a true bucket list, and we are ever grateful for being amongst a select few.  We had the elegance of staying in a historic villa, and jumping in the car each day for a spectacular adventure through Tuscany.  We even ventured to a truffle hunt where we participated in the finding of truffles (thanks to Fabio & the keen nose of his dog Zara) and then had these truffles made into spreads and pasta paired with the perfect wines made from Fabio’s vineyard.  Every experience was most satisfying and memorable.  Tommy and Teresa were not just tour guides they were our windows into a world we never knew existed.   If you want a tour of Italy, book a bus.  If you want an “immersion excursion” book Adventures to Tuscany.  To Tommy & Terese and our “family”, Grazie mille! Grazie mille! You guys were awesome hosts and we had a fantastic Adventure to Tuscany!  We are world travelers who like to go off the beaten path and find unique experiences. We don’t typically travel in large groups or with people we don’t know. Friends of ours have traveled with Adventures to Tuscany, their photos and stories sounded amazing, but we weren’t sure about traveling with a group. When they said they were going back again and asked if we’d want to join them we decided we’d try something different this year. We’re so happy we did! Tommy and Therese are wonderful people who care deeply about making sure each person has a wonderful time. We didn’t feel like we were with a group, we felt like we were with family. The Villa is such a special place, we felt at home the moment we got there. We loved our time spent at the villa, hanging out with our friends and making new ones. We also enjoyed all the places we went and the locals we met along the way. I was so excited for the Festival del Bianco and it didn’t disappoint! The dinners each night were so delicious. We could have gone to Tuscany on our own and had a great time but we would have missed out on the unique experiences that you can only get with Adventures to Tuscany.

We, (10 friends/5 couples from Allentown, PA), traveled to and through Tuscany with Tommy and Terese from Adventures to Tuscany.  The accommodations at The Villa and amenities were fabulous!  The daily excursions were well thought out, informative and relaxed.  The meals, pool parties, happy hours and evening gatherings were wonderful.  Tommy and Terese enhanced every aspect of what we did with their attentiveness, their personal warmth and their relaxed way of interacting with us. Nothing compares to Adventures to Tuscany & Provence! The best ever!

“We had the pleasure of traveling with Adventures to Tuscany in 2012, 2015 and 2022. All adventures turned out to be “trips of a lifetime”. We felt very prepared for everything that we experienced. Tommy and Terese were able to provide excellent descriptions of every aspect of the tours. The Villas…  Beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, dining rooms everywhere with an amazing terrace and pool just outside the door.  And the views… it’s all about the incredible views!  We spent mornings traveling to the neighboring villages for shopping, exploring and lunch. The hand held radios they gave us made communication a breeze. Then back to the Villas for an afternoon dip in the pool. Dinner outside on the terrace and entertainment by local musicians topped off the evenings.  All of the planned excursions were incredible ways to experience the local customs and traditions and not the typical “tour package”.  How many package tours allow you to spend the afternoon in a farmers market shopping for a picnic in the park?   After a few days spending time with the group, we felt confident enough to do some exploring on our own with the encouragement of T and T.  We were fortunate enough to have additional days prior to and after our Villa experience. Our pre and post Villa accommodations were not the normal chain hotel. Each and every stop was a boutique “bed and breakfast” type arrangement with incredible staff and charming atmosphere. All of these travel arrangements they made for us were flawless…trains, planes, hotels and automobiles…  a subway, trolley and even a private boat tour past George Clooney’s place!!  And how can you talk about Tuscany without talking about the food and the WINE?   Wild boar in my pasta dish paired with an amazing wine… incredible!!  Please take me back!!” We loved it so much we’ve signed up for their Provence Tour in 2022!

Our Bucket List Trip to Tuscany was more than we ever could have ever imagined.  Traveling with Adventures to Tuscany took all the work of planning and researching what to do and where to eat, out of our hands.   Our trip began with a wonderful meet & greet cocktail party at the Villa with delicious food, wine and beer.  Everyone was so excited to begin our vacation experience together making memories.  Everyday there was an agenda, delicious food, tours of towns and wineries along with incredible food.  Dinners were prepared by their Chefs, Angela and Giuseppe; now we’re talking authentic Italian cuisine along with open wine and beer bar.  One day we had down time where you could drive into Radda (not far at all from the Villa) or hang out at the pool at the Villa and just recharge and relax which is what we did along with a few others.  So much laughter every single day with the other guests and our amazing hosts Tommy and Theresa who took care of every single detail of the trip from tickets into the Cathedrals, organized luncheons as a group to suggestions of where to have lunch or join them for lunch on a different day. Truly EVERYTHING was INCLUDED except a few lunches on our own while sightseeing.  Traveling in our own car was a hoot, our own little Road Rally… we all followed each other while having walkie talkies to communicate, not only driving but also in the towns so really, Tommy and Theresa are there all the time.  I purchased the most gorgeous leather boots and leather handbag for myself and some leather handbags as gifts for my family and friends. There is nothing like Italian leather in my opinion. We had the best experience and most wonderful memories…  so much so that we’ve booked one of the Adventures to Provence Trips for 2025. Super excited for this Provence trip, I just know it’ll be another trip of a lifetime.   Thanks Tommy and Theresa, can’t wait for Provence!

“Back in the 70’s I spent six years living in Italy while attending school, so I jumped at the chance to return to Tuscany when I learned about Adventures To Tuscany.  Our first trip was in 2001 and I was so excited !  We stayed in an amazing Villa with breath taking views and a pool.  We enjoyed tasting tours in many of the wineries as well as dinning out in local restaurants for “pranzo”.   We visited very famous cities and even had personal guided tours.  We experienced so much more than was possible in a large group.   When we needed to rest, we just relaxed by the pool at our Villa.  Our tour hosts were so accommodating and nice that we were always comfortable being away in a foreign country.  Since 2001 we have returned with Adventures to Tuscany a total of six times.  I love Italy and it’s people and it is always an “adventure” to be able to return!”
